committee MEMBERSHIP

We are now advertising for our executive committee roles as well as our festival management committee roles!

The festival is only able to go ahead thanks to the hard work and dedication of our committee of volunteers. The more members we have, the lighter the load, and the better the festival can be - whether you have 15 minutes or 5 hours a week to help us out, we want to hear from you! There is a wide range of areas to cover, and all skill sets can be put to use.

  1. Vice Secretary - Position Description
    Executive committee role supporting the Secretary

  2. Social Media Manager - Position Description
    Content creation, posting & community communication on our Facebook and Instagram pages

  3. File Manager - Position Description
    Maintaining organisation of email inbox and cloud drive

  4. Gates Manager - Position Description
    Organising festival entry points including volunteer staffing and at-the-gate ticket sales

  5. Garlic Plaiting Manager - Position Description
    Organisation and execution of garlic plaiting demonstration at festival

  6. Green Room Manager - Position Description
    Coordination of performer’s green room spaces at festival

  7. Hay Bale Manager - Position Description
    Organisation of purchase, delivery, placement, and sale of hay bales for festival seating

INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS
In accordance with the rules for the Association, a nomination of a person for membership is to be made to two members of the committee and lodged with the public officer of the Association or put forward at a general meeting. As soon as practicable after receipt of a nomination, the public officer is to refer the nomination to the committee. If a nomination is approved by the committee, the public officer is to enter the nominee’s name in a register of members on receipt of the amount payable by the nominee as the first annual subscription. The annual subscription payable by members of the Association is $10 (due and payable on or before 1 July annually).
